This barn was original to the 1783 brick farmhouse.  

 

The old, neglected barn was stripped to its hand-hewn white oak frame, a new foundation was poured underneath, and the barn was brought back to life as a renovated Net Zero open living space.

 

 Highlights include energy efficient construction, custom concrete floors and counters, locally made cabinetry,  local millwork, reuse of original barn boards, and a custom metal bridge connecting the two old haylofts.
