Fayston, Vermont

Bragg hill
net-zero home

A new home for a very active family who takes full advantage of the Mad River Valley's outdoor recreation and wellness opportunities.

Working with the sloped site, this home is tucked into the meadow of native grasses and vegetation, receiving spectacular views of the Green Mountains. Brilliant southern exposure allows for solar gain in the winter months. 3300 square feet, 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and a finished basement allow the family to host plenty of guests and the ability to work from home.

The open floor plan and the locally crafted kitchen lets the serious chef in the family use the meadow below and mountains beyond as a backdrop for meals and entertainment.

Notable performance features include airtight construction (0.53ACH50), copious amounts of environmentally friendly insulation (R75 ceilings and R46 walls) and triple glazed tilt and turn windows.
