Shelterwood Construction is a residential construction company located in the Mad River Valley, Vermont.  We specialize in building high performance homes.

We are a collection of native Vermonters, flatlanders, parents, organic farmers, musicians, backcountry snowboarders, artists, and we even have an architect on staff who loves to work with his hands in the field.

Owner, Colin Lindberg, brings over a decade of hands-on experience working in the field alongside some of finest craftspeople in this industry.  He got his start as an apprentice carpenter with  Pinneo Construction (http://www.pinneoconstruction.com)  of Princeton, NJ and worked his way up to one of their top carpenters.  While there he gained experience working with some of the top architects in the country such as Bohlin Cywinski Jackson, Richardson Smith and many others.  Colin is an active member with the Mad River Valley Ambulance Service, on the board of directors of Vermont Passive House, and spends his free times in the mountains and the ocean.  He lives in Fayston with his 3 year old son, Koji.
